Bora, anybody? This island in French Polynesia has become an epitome for
romantic, exotic honeymoons, glamorised by sailors' tales and Hollywood films.
Another favourite lovers' nest would be the island of Maldives, nestled in the
Indian Ocean by India's southernmost tip. More adventurous types would set out
on a backpacking trip all over Asia or go on an African safari, with
accommodations in a huge, cosy tent that comes with the amenities and services
of a four-star or five-star hotel. Wherever it may be, a honeymoon is always a
great excuse to splurge on travel.
